SeamLess
The TU Studio team is in charge of the software solution for the Listening Room at Humboldt Forum, Berlin. The room features a WFS system with 256 channels (2112 speakers) and an Ambisonics system with 45 loudspeakers. WFS rendering is driven by a minimal version of Wonder, the original TU WFS software. Ambisonics is realized with the ADT, in combination with SuperCollider and the SC-HOA plugins.

Signal Flow
The key feature of SeamLess is the seamless integration of different rendering algorithms and loudspeaker systems. This is realized by means of multiple Linux servers with dedicated tasks. Audio and control data is shared among the servers, managed by custom routing and processing software:
Plugins
A dedicated set of VST plugins makes it possible to integrate the SeamLess backend into common DAW projects. The virtual acoustic scene can thus be controlled with plugin automations:
