The Last Groove

The Last Groove

The Last Groove (2018) is a live performance for time-code vinyl, studio recordings and live processing. The sounds are derived from the crackling of the last groove of a vinyl record, processed with analog gates and compressors and afterwards used to control various analog and digital synth processes. Rotation speed and angle of the turntables directly control the spatialization.
